Your first declaration in 3 steps

About 5 minutes the first time. After that, about a minute per shipment.

1

Install the extension

  1. Click the button below for your browser, then Add.
  2. Click the puzzle-piece icon at the top right of your browser and pin EntryWharf.
  3. Click the EW icon. A panel opens on the right. Sign in with your EntryWharf email and password.

2

Open your customs website

  1. Log in to your customs website (e.g. CAPS) as usual. EntryWharf never sees your customs password.
  2. Start a new blank declaration, then click the EW icon.
  3. The first time, your browser asks to allow EntryWharf on this site. Click Allow.
  4. Once only: go to Link fields → Always-the-same values and type your own details (importer/TIN number, declarant name…). They're saved on your computer.
The panel should say "Using the BVI – CAPS setup". If it says the site isn't supported, press Ask for this site to be supported and we'll add it.

Snap, check, fill

  1. Drop in photos or PDFs of the bill of lading and commercial invoice. Phone photos are fine: flat, in good light, all four corners showing.
  2. Press Read documents and wait 10–40 seconds.
  3. Check the details. Anything in amber was hard to read, so compare it with the paper. Tariff codes are suggestions.
  4. Press Fill declaration, then Fill all lines.
  5. On the customs page, green = filled and amber = double-check. Review everything, then submit it yourself.

Good to know

Does EntryWharf pay my duties or submit for me?

No. It only fills the paperwork. You submit the declaration and pay Customs as usual.

Something filled in the wrong box

Fix it on the page, then tell us using the "Ask for help" email below. If Customs changed the form, EntryWharf usually fixes itself within a few uses.

Can my staff use it?

Yes, on Business and Broker plans. Go to your account → Team → create an invite link and send it to them.

How do I pay?

On your account page, by card. It renews monthly, and receipts and invoices are under Billing & invoices.

Which browsers work?

Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge on Windows or Mac, and Firefox. Internet Explorer isn't supported.
